Yes, completely. ZeroFi Bridge is fully non-custodial at every step. Your assets are secured by on-chain contracts and a distributed validator cluster — no team member, administrator, or third party has access to your funds at any point. You sign every transaction with your own keys and can redeem zAssets back to native assets at any time without permission from anyone.
Transfer speed depends on the source network's confirmation requirements. For XMR, the bridge requires 10 source-chain confirmations plus 10 sweep confirmations. For BTC, the confirmation count follows standard network requirements. Once all confirmations are reached, the zAsset is minted on the destination chain within seconds. Most transfers complete in under 30 minutes depending on network conditions.
ZeroFi Bridge charges a minimal, transparent bridge fee that is displayed before every transaction. Network fees on the source and destination chains apply separately and are set by the respective networks, not by ZeroFi. There are no hidden fees, no withdrawal fees, no deposit fees, and no management fees on any operation. All costs are clearly visible in the bridge interface before you confirm.
The minimum deposit varies by asset. For XMR, the minimum deposit is 0.01 XMR. Minimum amounts for other assets are displayed in the bridge interface next to the "Amount limits" section. Yes. ZeroFi Bridge supports both minting (wrapping native assets into zAssets) and burning (redeeming zAssets back to native assets).
